MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid gives an educational talk for Ministry of the Presidency employees on prevention of colon cancer. For that reason, MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid, in collaboration of the Ministry of the Presidency, has organized the educational talk ‘Prevention of colon cancer’ to promote prevention of this type of cancer among Ministry employees. At the event, Dr Sara Encinas, of the Medical Oncology Service at MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid, explained the importance of screening as recommended according to age, such as a colonoscopy for the over 50, or even sooner in the case there are risk factors like a genetic predisposition or family history, and consulting a specialist if there are any possible symptoms.
