Bronchitis


Acute or chronic inflammation of bronchial mucosa. Acute bronchitis it is characterized by productive cough, fever, or back pain. It is caused by the spread of viral infections from the upper airways of the bronchi. Chronicbronchitis is characterized by excessive mucus secretion in the bronchi, with productive cough lasting for at least three consecutive months during two subsequent years.
