MD Anderson Cancer Center Foundation Spain is participating in a project, with three other European countries, that will study tumors at a molecular level and seek to expand therapy options in the most advanced stages of endometrial cancer. The study will combine pre-clinical models and artificial intelligence solutions to generate an algorithm to predict the therapeutic response of patients. Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecological tumor in developed countries and the overall survival rate of patients is reduced from 90% to 17% if there is a late diagnosis1

Normalization the use of the word 'cancer' may be key to achieving a generational change toward destigmatizing the disease, thus improving the quality of life of patients. Providing the child wishes to do so, sharing information with young children relieves the anxiety and uncertainty of the disease, and helps prevent them from seeking answers by other means. Involving children in the changes that our body will undergo, making them see the process as something natural will help us to have a healthier relationship with the unpleasant emotions that arise during the process.
